In December’s edition of The Hunt Monthly, we take the opportunity to acknowledge and thank our community for their continued support, reflect on a successful end-of-year celebration, formally welcome a new club partner, and begin turning our attention towards the exciting journey ahead.
END OF YEAR BREAK UP
Doncaster Football Club concluded 2025 by coming together for its End of Year Break Up, kindly hosted by the Doncaster Bowls Club. The evening provided an opportunity for players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters to reconnect, recognise the effort and commitment demonstrated throughout the year, and further strengthen the sense of community that underpins the club.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Doncaster Bowls Club for their hospitality and support.
WELCOME TO VICPROP MANNINGHAM
Doncaster Football Club is proud to welcome VicProp Manningham as a new club partner. VicProp Manningham specialises in property management and real estate services, offering expertise across residential leasing, investment property management, and tailored property solutions for local homeowners and investors. Their strong commitment to professionalism, local knowledge, and community engagement aligns closely with the values of the club as we continue to build sustainable partnerships ahead of our return to competition.
As part of this partnership, VicProp Manningham will generously cover the cost of new Doncaster Football Club playing jumpers ahead of the 2026 EFNL season. This support represents a significant contribution to the club, helping to alleviate financial pressures while ensuring our players are equipped with high-quality, professional apparel that proudly represents the Sharks’ identity.
RETURN TO PRE-SEASON
Our pre-season program will recommence in the new year on Monday, 19 January at 6pm. The opening session will be held at Schramms Reserve, with Rieschiecks Reserve in Doncaster East also to be utilised when required. All players and supporters will be kept informed of training details through our social media platforms. We are looking forward to getting back on the track in the coming weeks to assess the group’s progress, while also beginning our focused work on game style, structures and overall game plan.
We have also confirmed two pre-season matches, with fixtures against Laurimar FC on 14 March and Watsonia FC on 28 March. Further details regarding venues and match times will be communicated in due course.
And lastly, we would like to sincerely thank our incredible volunteers, partners, members and supporters for your ongoing loyalty and support during a challenging year, and we also warmly welcome those new to the Sharks into our family as we continue to prepare for our return to the competition in 2026. The commitment shown by the Doncaster community has been vital in positioning the club moving forwards, and your support has not gone unnoticed.
We hope that you all had a safe, happy and relaxing Christmas with family and friends, and we look forward to being back on the field and hunting with you in the new year.
