
Sharks Appoint New Coach - Andrew Tranquilli
Andrew Tranquilli Appointed Senior Coach for 2012
Following an extensive and thorough process that brought the club a set of
high calibre options to build on the Premiership success of 2011 -
Doncaster Football Club is pleased to announce the
appointment of Andrew Tranquilli as senior coach for
season 2012.
Andrew joins the club having been the Assistant Coach (Midfield) Vic Metro
u16 AFL Academy. Previously his roles included four years of Assistant and
Senior coaching within the Central Highlands Football League (CHFL). He has
worked with Box Hill in the VFL and Marcellin in the VAFA while his playing
career included four years with the Collingwood F.C. and VFL State team
representation.
Congratulations are in order to Craig "Daisy" Williams who
has been reappointed as Senior Assistant Coach.
In further positive news for the club Charlie Fenech has
been appointed u19's coach for next season. Charlie has an
outstanding record working with under age players and last year coached the
Northern Bullants VAFA u19's. His previous roles included the Western Jets
Assistant Coach TAC (u16's), EDFL Representative Team Coach (u16 - 17) and
EDFL Junior Development Coordinator (u14 - 16)
