Seniors playing last years runners up scored a workman like victory on the weekend. Leading all day the Sharks held a 26 point lead at half time only to see UFTG kick four unanswered goals early in the third term. To the guys credit, whilst giving away at least six goals through poor decision making and turnover, we continued to work hard and secure a win 17.8.110 to 15.9.99. With eight new players in the team we will only get better in coming weeks.

Reserves were disappointing going down to UFTG 17.8 to 10.7. With seventeen players missing out on a game the match committee will undoubtedly look at making changes for this weeks match.

Under 18's, although losing, put in a solid performance 8.11.59 to 10.15.75. With many of the boys playing together for the first time we are looking forward to a good year with this talented group of players.
