With a strong breeze Ringwood (3 goals) held the Sharks goalless in the first term and kicked the first goal in the second quarter. Trailing by four goals the boys clicked and kicked five goals to lead 5.7 to 4.4 at the break. The second half belonged to Doncaster, displaying a brand of football which, moving forward, is required for four quarters

We cannot under estimate the importance of the u18's.Two weeks ago a 200p loss, last week 100p win. This week another bid loss. Suffered their first defeat of the season to the undefeated Nth Ringwood by 6 points. A high standard game saw NR take a two goal lead at quarter time. The Sharks fought back well to trail by 4 points at the main break and following an impressive third term took a slender lead into the final quarter. NR forged two goals clear until the Sharks goaled with 90 seconds left but eventually ran out of time.

The boys battled hard against a team which last week won 36 goals to no

fantastic effort to get a side on the field (even if it was 17) with clearances being chased up the night before, well done to Darren Antrim- you've only aged 10 years n the last 2 weeks !! At 1 goal to 9 at halftime with no bench and playing with one less, things should have got ugly but to outscore the opposition in the second half is a credit to the boys and shows there's plenty to work with if we get a few more - on that, anyone interested in playing Colts still, please contact the club. Best - Aaron T-H, Liebelt & Pianta
