Nick Kempe has signed for the 2020 season at Doncaster FC.

Nick is 21 and originally from Mackay, Qld. He plays as a quick skillful winger/flanker.

Nick was a member of the Gold Coast Suns Academy for seasons 2016 & 2017, and represented Queensland & the ‘Allies’ during this period in the U18 Championships.

2018 was spent at Southport and Broadbeach playing a combination of NEAFL & QAFL games. 2019 was Nick’s first season in Victoria, he was on Collingwood’s VFL list and played in the West Preston premiership in the NFL. Nick will be completing the preseason with Collingwood VFL.

Doncaster FC is pleased to announce the signing of Cody Stackelberg for 2020.

Cody is a strong bodied midfielder who enjoys the contest. He has been a member of the Brisbane Lions Academy and captained the squad in 2017 & 2018.

Cody despite being only 19 has played 4 seasons of senior footy. With the unique setup of the NEAFL he spent 2018 & 2019 representing both the Brisbane Lions & Aspley in the same competition. Cody has also signed with Collingwood in the VFL for 2020.

We welcome Cody to Shark Park, and look forward to seeing him in a Doncaster jumper.

Double Trouble – Doncaster Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Connor Stackelburg for 2020.

Connor 22 years old is also a past member of the Brisbane Lions Academy as was younger brother Cody. Connor is a 189cm tall forward that has played the last 2 seasons at Aspley in the NEAFL.

Known for his strong marking Connor had a break out 2019 kicking 37 goals for the season. Connor had a big finish to the season and was one of Aspley’s best players in their finals campaign which ceased at the hands of Southport in the Preliminary Final.

Connor has also signed for the Collingwood VFL side for 2020.

Doug Lawrence signs with Doncaster FC for 2020.

Doug is a strong key back that has spent the last 4 seasons in the NEAFL with Aspley FC, playing up against northern state AFL Reserves. Doug will also be on the Port Melbourne VFL list for 2020.

Doug 25 years old has plenty of good football in front of him & is looking forward to challenge of playing in Melbourne. He also has some versatility in that has spent time up forward with success.

Another that had numerous options but elected to join Doncaster FC.

Riley Verbi has signed for Doncaster for the 2020 season.

Riley is 21 years old and plays as a goalkicking midfielder. He has spent the last few seasons at Beaconsfield. Riley also played 2 games in 2019 with North Melbourne VFL & will be completing a preseason with the Kanga’s for 2020.

Riley was selected in the 2019 team of the year in the new Outer East competition. He was also selected in a young guns game that pitted the most promising players under 22 years old from both the VFL & NAB League competition.

We are thrilled to have won the battle for Riley’s services and look forward to his output in 2020.

Doncaster FC is pleased to announce the signing of Jake Spencer.

Jake spent 10 years in the AFL system at Melbourne FC, between 2008 to 2017 where he managed 38 AFL games. Jake has spent the last 2 years at Aspley in the NEAFL, where he was the dominant ruckman in the competition, & was duly selected in the NEAFL team of the year in both seasons. During those two seasons Jake was a fly in fly out player.

At 204cm we believe Jake will give us an advantage at stoppages, while creating a strong presence around the ground. Jake is also a capable goal kicker, that will add some much needed experience to our list.

Doncaster FC is pleased to announce the signing of Jaxon Gervasoni.

Jaxon is a 19 year old hard at it midfielder from Mulgrave who EFL followers will know won the Paul Edie medal – EFL Best & Fairest for 2nd Division in 2019. 2019 was the 1st full senior season for Jaxon so to achieve this honour was an amazing result. In 2018 Jaxon won the Mulgrave U19s Best & Fairest despite playing in only 9 games, This was due to playing the 2nd half of the season in the seniors.

Jaxon is keen to test himself at the highest level in the EFL & the club is pleased he has elected to do this at Doncaster.
